Service Technical (Heavy Vehicle Mechanic)

Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of heavy vehicles and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Responsible to diagnose faults on vehicles and equipment
Responsible to carry out repair on vehicles and equipment
Identify, replace and install parts as per requirement
Responsible to carry out vehicle's condition inspection and repair recommendation status
Generate vehicles repair and maintenance related report
Responsible to fill up jobs sheet and order parts as required on repair and maintenance

Competencies

Transmission system servicing
Commercial Vehicle Scheduled Maintenance
Starting, charging system and battery servicing
Lubrication and cooling system servicing
Intake, exhaust and fuel system servicing
Steering and suspension system servicing
Hydraulic system servicing
Engine overhaul
Axle and wheel servicing

Education

Technical College with Commercial Vehicles Trade with minimum SKM 2

Experience

Minimum of 2 years experience in any and / or similar role / capacity
